Ethiopia Guji Natural Arsosala
Coffees from the Guji region have captured the attention of the coffee experts. This coffee is another prime example of a stellar coffee from the area. Grown in a clay loam soil and natural processed and sun-dried, our light roast will not mask the local flavor of this coffee. Lemony acidity, dried strawberry, whipped cream, and cocoa powder highlight this gem. This is a Two Bit Rush Coffee Roasters staff favorite.
The Guji region of Ethiopia is hot in the coffee world right now, and I think this is a great example of why. I definitely pick up on the strawberry and cocoa flavors with the latter giving a mild acidity to the brew. This is a pretty light roast (which is a good thing for this coffee) so I did use water just off boil to brew (pour-over). Overall this is an outstanding coffee!
